This listing is a file for embroidery machines, not an embroidered item.
It is an applique camper, sized for a 5 x 7 hoop. Actual dimensions and stitch count (approx. 18500) are shown on the color chart photograph. Actual sewing time is about 32 minutes, though it will take you longer since you'll need to trim appliques, change threads, etc.
I put in a lot of color changes to give you some design flexibility. Also, because this is an applique and uses 4 pieces of applique fabric, the thread changes are deceptively high. On the red/white test sew, I used the same thread for 12 consecutive steps!
The design is available in the following formats: DST, EXP, HUS, and PES. Other formats available on request (just shoot me a conversation - I check in every day, so you won't have to wait long). Don't forget to download the written instructions; they will explain the sewing order and save you some thread changes.
A note about the test-sew pictures: The first test sew picture - the one with a burgundy/tan gingham upper camper - is the correct, final design. I have included several "imperfect" test sews in other colors just to give you an idea of what other color schemes would look like. I didn't even finish some of them - one test has only 1 chair, one test has no fern in front. You don't have to sew the ferns, but you MUST sew the two chairs because the satin outlines behind the chairs have gaps where the chairs go.
I did my test sews on muslin with iron-on stabilizer and .40 weight thread. Because different materials perform differently, you should test sew the design using materials similar to what you'll use in your final project.
