Please remember that you are responsible for the payment of charges, duties and taxes levied by your home government for importing items from the UK. In addition, the mail carrier may impose a handling fee for any items subject to these charges.

I am not registered for VAT so VAT is not included in the price you pay.

I hope that you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not satisfied, please notify me through the Etsy convo system within 14 calendar days of receipt.

I accept returns but please contact me first to make arrangements to return the items to me. If you change your mind about your purchase within 14 days, I will refund your purchase price and outward shipping when the item gets back to me in its original condition. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to me.

Please send returns back by Royal Mail if you are in the UK and ensure that the item is packed securely in order to prevent any damage. If items are returned to me in a damaged state, I am able to reduce the amount of any refund to reflect the reduction in value.

Returns from buyers outside of the UK/EU must be marked as "Goods Being Returned". Failure to do so may incur unnecessary Customs fees to Minnie Maud’s Attic. In this case, any charges and the £8 Royal Mail handling fee will be deducted from the customer’s refund.

For international orders, if the item is returned to me as "undeliverable" then the original shipping will not be refunded if found to be due to address error or if the buyer has not picked up from their Postal Service if/when a note has been left.

If you wish to cancel the purchase before the item is sent please send a convo through Etsy's messaging system but please be aware that the item may already have been posted. If the item has been posted, I will not be able to process a refund until it gets back to me.

I try to use recycled materials for outer packaging where possible. This may include cardboard for reinforcing envelopes and parcels and shredded paper for added protection for fragile items. On occasions, I may use boxes which have previously contained sealed sachets of cat food - if this would be a problem for you, please let me know when you place your order. These boxes make excellent packaging materials but I am aware that not everyone will appreciate their use.

Please be aware that my home is cat-friendly but smoke free.
