Item details

This pin cushion is so much fun! Made to look like gramma's rocking chair, it can hold your pins and needles and also your bobbins and spools of thread. What a clever idea!

A charming piece for any sewing room, this chair actually rocks back and forth, and here are three areas for your needles and pins, a large cushion on the seat and two smaller ones on the chair's back. On both sides there are dowels for holding your spools in place and I think that the little bows at the back of the chair are just too cute, don't you? The addition of the ruffled skirt is the perfect finishing touch.

Made of wood and floral fabric, this piece appear to be handmade, but I am having a tough time believing that it was made in 1993 as inscribed on the bottom. Perhaps that was just the year that the giver gave it to 'June'?

It is 8" high and 6 1/2" wide and is in great vintage condition. What a cute gift for someone just beginning to sew or for someone who has sewn for years and loves collecting sewing items.

I look for Cool Finds where ever I go and I never know what I’ll run across. I find sewing boxes and so much more and realize that, being vintage, they most likely have been used and will have some wear and tear.

Buttons may have come off of a dress or coat, or they might have never been used at all. Books may have been handled and gone through over and over.

Please look at the details in the photos above as they are a part of my description and are intended to help you determine age and condition. All items are sold as is. If you have any questions, please let me know as I would be more than happy to answer them.
