These are two pieces of raw driftwood sculpture I found on the beach near my home in the Pacific Northwest. What do they look like? I think they resemble sea snails or other little sea creatures.
They have been sitting on a shelf for a number of years with other pieces of driftwood that the surf and sand carved into art. All of these found treasures can be kept as nature made them or used to create new art. Other pieces can be seen at https://www.etsy.com/shop/TrueNorthDriftwood .
The lighter colored driftwood piece is 4 by 2.75 by .75 inches and weighs .6 ounce. The darker driftwood piece is 4.25 by 2 by .75 inches and weighs 1 ounce. My only alteration was to brush off the sand.
The color you see on the screen may not be the exact color of the driftwood. Without a calibration tool, all screens are at least little bit off real color.
Whenever possible the driftwood pieces are shipped in recycled packing materials. This helps keep the costs down and our environment healthy.
