This listing is for your choice of ONE anti2qque art glass cross; there are 4 different designs available. I have numbered each. When you order, please just tell me which number(s) you would like to purchase.
Many years ago, while on a buying trip to New England, I had the chance to buy some beautiful, late 19th Century art glass jewels used for making jewelry. Rhode Island was a center of the costume jewelry industry in the USA. That's where these were being sold. I believe these were created in Czechoslavakia where most of the beautiful jewels during this period of time made. No matter the country of origin, these are beautiful.
There is only one of each cross as these were from a salesman's sample case. I bought a lot from that collection, as I had never seen anything quite like them. I have never seen any of these since. These would be very special for any jewelry maker. I hope some one can put them to good use. Each cross would be the focal point. These were purchased on display sheets. I cut them into squares for safer storage. I had planned to use them but since I haven't gotten around to it, I hope someone will put them to use.
I have included close-up pictures of each. I have written the size on each. My pictures are a big part of my description. Please view them all.
They are in very good, original antique condition. No chips, scratches or cracks. The gold enhancements are still presents well. These are so much prettier in person. Made into a pendant, they would be a stand out piece of jewelry. And, they are one of a kind. You will have to spend a lot of time and travel to find anything like them.
