This spectacular chunk of rough material is from the Ray Mine near Hayden, Arizona. This massive piece measures approximately 5.5 Inches x 3.5 Inches x 2.5 Inches. This huge specimen weighs a total of 1 Pound and 13 Ounces. This material is truly spectacular, this piece came from a very old collection and features large pockets of stunning deep ocean-blue gem silica, bursts of black-tenorite, pockets of druzy quartz over gem silica, and large swirls of chrysocolla. On the backside of this piece you can also see a small pocket of botryidal gem silica coated with powder-white quartz. This piece has amazing potential for cabochons, it also would make an incredibly addition to any mineral collection.
