Item details

Raw Huacaya alpaca wool, beige/buff by the 1/2 pound. Yago had an extraordinary blanket this year, you will be very pleased with the soft, fluffy texture of this fiber, since he hasn't been sheared in a couple years his fiber is even more luxurious!

This light beige wool will dye beautifully, and give a richer, more vibrant color when dyed, similar to dying brown eggs instead of white for Easter, or would make a beautiful light beige/ecru yarn in it's natural state.

Alpaca wool is softer and 10-20 times warmer than sheep's wool, breathes better and does not contain lanolin, which is what causes most allergic reactions to sheep wool. We sell Suri wool by the pound.
