Item details

The inspiration for these Corriedale wool batts were some beautiful spikes of Foxgloves which I spotted whilst walking my greyhound, Rolo. The carded art batts are perfect for spinning or felt making. They each contain equal quantities of commercially dyed corriedale wool (magenta, plum, and two shades of green), hand dyed wool nepps, trilobal nylon (firestar) and a sprinkling of sugar plum angelina fibres. Although they have the same ingredients, each batt will be unique as they are blended by hand on my drum carder.

Each batt weighs approx. 50 grams (1.76 ounces).

Each batt is folded in half lengthways, with a piece of tissue paper to keep it separate, and then carefully rolled with another layer of tissue paper.

The corriedale wool is approx. 25-30microns with a staple length of 80-120mm. It comes from New Zealand. It has been commercially dyed with acid dyes that conform with EN71.

All items are shipped 2nd class within the UK or small packets airmail outside the UK. This is not a trackable service, if you would prefer your parcel to be tracked you will need to upgrade the postage.

I try to send out all items within 2 days of payment, however during busy periods it may be 3 days. If you need something quick let me know and I will aim to get it out the next day.

Packages outside of the UK usually take 10 days to two weeks, but often take up to three weeks, particularly to the US. Unfortunately, this is out of my control, if your item has not arrived after three weeks then please get in contact with me.

Payments

If you wish to cancel an order please get in contact with me as soon as possible. If the item has not been posted this will not be a problem, however if the item has already been sent then a full refund will be issued when the item has been returned in it's original condition. I can not refund used or worn items. If your purchase was faulty or had been damaged in transit then I will also reimburse your return postage costs.

Returns & exchanges

If you wish to return an item or exchange an item you must contact me within 14 days of your item arriving. Refunds will be issued or alternative items sent once the item is returned to me in it's original condition. I will only reimburse your postage costs (to return the item) if the product is faulty.
