Set of 5 Colorful Handcrafted Lampwork Glass Beads with Bright Swirls, Stripes, and Dots in fun summer colors. Mixed bead set for jewelry
This listing is for a set of 5 handmade lampwork glass beads. They were created by me in my studio located in The Woodlands, Texas using a mixture of Effetre and CIM glass rods.
They are all orphan beads, meaning, none of them are matching pairs- however- they all share a similar color palette with bright, bold colors and funky decorations. These would be a great addition to your handmade jewelry designs!
4 of the 5 beads are a "donut" or rondelle shape. One is slightly more rounded. These are made one by one by melting hot glass onto a metal rod- some imperfections are to be expected. The holes may not be perfectly situated in the middle of the bead, and the shape is not always perfectly round. Sometimes there can be small air bubbles trapped in the layers of glass. Their uniqueness is what makes them special, so please enjoy them in your jewelry creations! You will not be able to find beads like these ever in any craft store!
**Please note! I am a beginner beadmaker and these are some of the first beads I have up for sale. I have made them very cautiously and carefully and ensured that they have all been properly cooled and annealed in a kiln, which should ensure they are strong and resistant to breakage. However, lampwork beads are in general more fragile than store bought beads, so please handle them carefully! They will be shipped with lots of care to avoid any damage. All of my beads have been properly cleaned with a diamond bit Dremel and inspected.**
Please do let me know if you have any questions about size or color prior to ordering as sometimes colors can shift from camera to monitor. I strive to make my customers 100% satisfied so if there is ever anything I can do to help, please let me know!!
You will receive the 5 beads shown, please reference the photos with coin for size as they are all of varying graduated sizes.
All are made on 3/32" mandrels, so they all have the same 3/32" holes.
Thanks so much for visiting my shop, have a great day!

I currently am shipping worldwide. Despite recent US shipping increases, I try to maintain low and shipping rates. If there is every more than a $2.00 US descrepency between the rate you are charged and what it costs me to box/package and ship your item I will be glad to refund you the difference. Once payment is received I will ship your item the next business day.
Typically all artwork is shipped flat, with proper reinforcement to not allow any bending. If you are purchasing a LARGE painting, the item may have to be removed from the stretchers and shipped rolled. I will usually specify this in the listing. This is so that your painting does not arrive damaged. If you have any questions please convo me prior to placing an order so that we can discuss and resolve any concerns. If you would rather a large painting be boxed and shipped flat we may have to adjust the shipping rate to accommodate.
I generally always use UPS, Fedex, or USPS with tracking, depending on what will be the cheapest and quickest. If you would like to expedite shipping, please convo me so I can adjust the shipping rate for you.
Shipments are NOT insured against theft or loss by the shipper. If you would to add this service, please convo me.
International packages: YOU are responsible for the customs fee/ duties that you might incur when a package is shipped or imported into your country! This will likely be charged to you at the post office in order to pick up your item. Please note that I do NOT pay these fees and the fees can vary widely by country, the package weight, or contents.
If you are unsure of your country's import/ customs fees, please contact your local postal service prior to placing an order. Please note I will NOT accept returns if you choose to not pay your import fees!
Currently I accept paypal and direct credit card payment. All payment is due within 5 days of purchasing your item. If I have not received payment after 5 days, or received any communication from you I will cancel the sale and relist the item. I also will consider trades for items if you are interested! You will be responsible for the return shipping if you choose to return.
For Jewelry Purchases:
I use silver/gold/antique brass plated chains and findings to keep the cost low for you. This means there is a thin layer of the metal adhered over another type of non-specific metal (generally brass or copper). The coating or plating can wear or fade over time. This is normal behavior of this type of chain. If you would prefer gold/silver FILLED chain, i.e. solid-- please note this to me in a custom order. This will raise the price of the item significantly, and I will likely have to special order the chain for you, so it may add some additional time for me to get it shipped.
If you are sensitive to metals in jewelry, I would suggest 14K gold or sterling silver filled chains and findings. Again, this will be significantly higher cost, but I will be happy to special order the supplies needed for you. Please let me know if you have any questions prior to placing an order, once the order is shipped it is non-refundable if you choose to go with gold or silver filled chains or findings upgrade.

::::::::::: Jewelry care ::::::::
I offer costume/fashion jewelry and therefore it needs special care to ensure a longer life span (however, it will be much limited then fine metal jewelry and they'll eventually tarnish over time and wear). Please make sure you acknowledge the nature of my jewelry before purchasing.
Simple steps to keep your jewelry in good condition:
✺ AVOID any contact with water/lotion/perfume/sweat - the chains can get tarnished/fade if you leave them wet or moist - this is critical to prevent damage
✺ Clean the piece after use with a soft dry cloth to remove dust and natural skin oils that can damage the metals;
✺ Lemon Juice is known to brighten raw brass; We suggest lemon juice, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to brighten plated chains;
✺ Store jewelry away from sunlight and if possible in a jewelry box while not in use - direct sunlight can discolor the piece and oxygen is known to oxidize almost everything on earth.
✺ The climate and how often you wear the pieces will also affect longevity.
✺ My stretch bracelets fit my 6 inch wrist as shown. The jeweler's elastic is strong, but I recommend rolling the bracelet on and refraining from letting it sit in excess heat or cold or shooting it like an elastic.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to request a custom order. I am here to assist you with anything you need!
