■■■ HERE’S WHAT YOU DO
Once you purchase the dragon, you get an email from Etsy with a download link.
- - - Download, unzip & print the template at 100% (using A4 or US Letter thick paper)
- - - Read through the getting started tips
- - - Have a glance at the illustrated instructions
Then start building:
- - - Following the pattern, cut out each individual numbered part
- - - Score and fold along the dotted lines (you will know how thanks to the colour coding)
- - - Pair up the twin numbers and glue the parts together
After it's finished:
- - - Hang on the wall using pins, thumbtacks or nails, just like a picture frame
- - - Do the happy dance :)

■■■ WHAT YOU GET ONCE YOU BUY
- - - A complete 50-page (plain, no texture) digital template in PDF

- - - Getting started & advanced tips for a flawless sculpture

- - - BONUS 2 : Access to a private Facebook group for paper craft enthusiasts working on their sculptures. Just click through a link in the instructions enclosed! There's other cacti waiting for you there to complete your collection (as well as other free templates) .

This private Facebook group is the best place for you to ask me questions. I’m dedicated to your success and am there when you need me.

■■■ NUMBER OF A4/ US LETTER SHEETS NEEDED: 50
- - - 18 sheets for the body (colour 1)
- - - 4 sheets for the horns, eyes, claws and chest (colour 2)
- - - 18 shettes for the wings cartilage and wings back (color 1)
- - - 10 sheets for the wins webbing (colour 2)

■■■ DIMENSIONS OF THE FINISHED SCULPTURE WHEN PRINTED ON A4/US LETTER SHEETS
- - - Height: 80 cm / 31.5 in
- - - Width: 111 cm / 43.7 in (or more, depending how you hang the wings!)
- - - Depth: 42 cm / 16.5 in

■■■ LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
Intermediate to expert (the claws might be tricky to a beginner)

However, the dragon has been beta tested by about 30 people and I took their suggestions into account to make the dragon easier to build.

A quarter of them were complete beginners and were proud with their results, as you will see in the Facebook group!

Brandon, a (crafty) 12-year boy was one of the first to finish his dragon (and even made another one, just for fun)

FAQs

Surprisingly, yes. Those sculptures may look impressive, but they are designed with *motivated* beginners in mind and have been tested by true beginners. The process of assembly has been made intuitive to relax your brain so that you won't have to figure out what step you should take next. The enclosed illustrated instructions make things even easier as they suggest where to start to glue each piece. That said, I wouldn't recomment the shark as debut model because the 3D teeth are tricky.

I would rather say adults and teens above 13, just to be safe.

■ Printer or your local print shop ■ A4 Paper (160-220 gsm) or US Letter (65 lb cover or 110 lb index like this one for example: https://www.amazon.com/Neenah-Astrobrights-Premium-Assortment-Inches/dp/B003A2I6T2) ■ Cutting tool ■ Scoring tool (the dull side of a craft knife, dried out ball pen, etc.) ■ Ruler ■ White glue ■ Pin or nail ■ And obviously, a wall.

■■■ PAPER Coloured or patterned A4 (160-220 g/m²) or US Letter American friends, this kind of cardstock is fine (this is *not* an affiliate link): https://www.amazon.com/Neenah-Astrobrights-Premium-Assortment-Inches/dp/B003A2I6T2 ■■■ GLUE Quick drying white glue! (mundane quick drying wood glue, or Aileen's, or Elmer's, or Mod Podge, an so on). I wouldn't recommend: glue sticks nor transparent liquid glues. Don't worry, all these recommendations are reminded in the instructions along with extra advice on how to glue properly.

Go to your local copy store with a thumb drive. They usually have a wide range of paper colours, and if you are lucky, various weights. They will print your template for you for next to nothing. Ask 180 gsm (65 lb cover) in priority, then 160 gsm (110 lb index) if they don't have 180. (The tutorial is to be printed on regular office paper, or not to be printed at all)

In this shop, you will find PDF patterns you can turn into paper sculptures. Nothing physical will be sent to you. You can download your files directly from your Etsy account a few seconds after your purchase. Here is how you can make your own paper sculpture: - - - Download & print the template (using A4 or US Letter thick paper) - - - Read through the getting started tips - - - Have a glance at the illustrated instructions Then start building: - - - Following the pattern, cut out each individual part - - - Score and fold along the dotted lines - - - Pair up the twin numbers to glue the pieces together After it's finished: - - - Hang on the wall using pins or nails, just like a picture frame - - - Be proud and do the happy dance :)

I do, as long as none of the files have been downloaded.

No, that's ok to download them multiple times. I'm just asking you not to share or publish the files though, and not to use them for profit of any kind. Don't mess with the copyright law.

Yes and no. You are allowed to sell the sculptures to make room for example. The point here is you can not make a business out of my work. Thank you. As for the templates and instructions, they are protected under copyright law. They are provided for the sole purpose of your personal pleasure. They are not to be shared, published, copied, modified, sold or distributed in any way without my consent.

Looks amazing on the wall. Friendly and helpful seller as well as access to the private Facebook group for support. This one does take some time but it was my first big papercraft and turned out great, just take your time.
