American Thread Company Star Books. Crochet Pattern books. Softcover 10.5 x 7.5 in vintage condition. Each with 15 Pages. Pictured finished projects with materials needed, needle size, finished size and abbreviations chart. Printed at American Thread Co. 260 W. Broadway, New York. USA.

Books are 67 years old and may have the following: Bent corners, fading, chips, taped seams, corners, pages,mild staining, light writing. Condition varies with each book.

The Star Books are apart of Textile History and some of them can be viewed at the American Textile History Museum in MA.

~ About ~
In 1897, 14 British firms merged to form English Sewing Cotton Co. of England. In 1898, the company purchased the Wilimantic Linen Co in Conn. USA, and formed The American Thread Company.
In 1907 ATC- American Thread Co. purchased the Wool Exchange Building at 260 W. Broadway in New York. The building still stands to date and in 2005, placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Star Books are dated and printed at said address by the historical, American Thread Company.
