Item details

A timeless playmate, Sweaterdolls are sure to delight your child with hours
of entertaining play.

Sweaterdolls are a hand stitched, upcycled doll originally made from repurposed wool or acrylic sweaters but equally happy being made from fleece, cotton velour, stretch velvet, or other slightly stretchy fabric.

This doll sits up well due some weight in its bottom (a little sack of dried beans). Its arms and legs swing and hold position as there are a few beans in them as well.

The PDF sewing pattern is an instant download item. You will not receive anything in the mail.

The pattern includes illustrated instructions, laundering recommendations, templates with seam allowance included, and a gallery of doll images for inspiration.

This pattern is for the basic doll. The doll is adorable as is, but can be customized through color choices and the addition of embellishments and clothing (patterns for clothing not included).

(All new updated pattern uploaded Dec. 22, 2017. If you have previously purchased this pattern, message me for a new copy.)

Child safety: As with any handmade toy, the maker is responsible for following infant/child safety guidelines. If the doll is intended for children aged three or younger, dolls should be made without small, chokeable weights. Button eyes and small embellishments should be replaced with embroidered eyes. Please check toy making resources available online to clarify infant/child toy safety standards.

Copyright information can be found in the policies.
