He was a wise man who invented beer.

Although we don’t really know, for sure, if it was a man who invented beer, whoever did come up with it created a beverage a lot of people enjoy. Creating your Beer Stein – Using a Mug Press

▸ Many mug presses are adjustable. Make sure yours is set to fit the beer stein.
▸ Set press temperature to 360 – 380 degrees F, set timer to 420 seconds, set pressure to light/medium
▸ Pressing time and temperature will vary with the press being used. You may have to experiment a bit to find the optimum settings and time for your press.
▸ Print your design making sure your artwork is mirrored. Print your image a little larger than the area to be sublimated.
▸ Wrap your transfer around the beer stein and smooth out any wrinkles. When transfer is properly centered, secure with heat tape
▸ Press the beer stein for the required time.
▸ Remove the transfer paper. Use caution as the stein will still be hot.
▸ Allow beer stein to air cool. Do not dunk in water

Creating your Beer Stein – Using an Oven

▸ A convection or toaster oven can be used for this process, as long as it can heat to 400 degrees. Do not use the same oven in which you cook food!
▸ Preheat convection oven to 400 degrees.
▸ Print sublimation transfer as described above
▸ Attach the transfer print to the stein with heat tape. Make sure to smooth out any wrinkles so the transfer lies smoothly. The printed side should be against the surface to be printed.
▸ Place the wrap around the beer stein and secure
▸ Place the wrapped stein in the pre-heated oven and cure for 15 minutes. (Time and temperature will depend on type of stein, wrap and substrate)
▸ Once the beer stein is done curing, remove from oven. Unlatch wrap and remove transfer. Use caution, as beer stein will be hot.
▸ Allow stein to air cool. Do not dunk in water to cool.
