Weavers and core spinners LOVE this yarn! Reviews: "*****These are great threads/yarns. I core spin with them and weave too. I'll be back for a lot more."***** N. 4

*****"I love the colors you have in this and it's so nice to work with. I will be back for more colors soon."***** T. C.

These are the newest and most popular colors in Louet's Cottolin Weaving Yarn. A couple were tough on my camera and we just couldn't get it right.

CASSISS is a medium berry/pink color with smokey tones.

DEEP PLUM doesn't show it's wonderful depth in the photos. It is a dusky eggplant color, deeper than the picture shows but still nice and earthy with no brightness.

CHAMPAGNE has always been one of the very best sellers in this line - it is buttery gold; earthy, soothing and not bright at all. Goes with SOOOO many colors.

LIGHT PEACH is the softest, lightest pastel peach ever; very cooling color and earthy with just enough brightness to lighten up an otherwise earth tone piece.

PEONY, actually called Pastel Red by Louet - not red at all, but an earthy pink, lighter and more to the pink than Cassiss with just a tad less berry hues yet still somewhat smokey in tone.

MAUVE is not the pastel mauve that may first come to mind but a dusty mauve, much earthier and smokey in it's presentation.

MERLOT - What were they thinking with this name? This is more like a brownish mauve - warm earth toned with just a hint of the plum cast - nothing like actual Merlot wine... I personally love this one but would call it "Dried Roses" as in the color of special flowers that have been pressed in a book to preserve them.

GOLDEN BROWN: An earthy camel or brown mustard color with no real brightness. Super versatile, this is another of their more popular colors. This is a warm and earthtoned camel color without being loud or bright.

STONE GRAY is similar to their Limestone Wet Spun Linen yarn - a soft and soothing gray with the slightest limestone hint to it's tone. To me this is almost the exact color of driftwood - gray but with the slightest beige hue to it. Also extremely versatile.

FOREST GREEN: Best described as a Hunter Green, with no bright green to it and just a hint of teal, mellowing it out.

TAUPE: A true taupe in color, my camera really bombed on this one, making it way too dark. So I found a swatch on the net which is its exact color. Ultra versatile and one of my faves!

Last pictures are of sets that I really like together. As I was photographing them, I grouped these three sets to picture and sell together.

ISLAND BREEZE: Driftwood (which is what I would have named their Stone Gray), Teal Green (a tad bluer than what I would call a Forest Green) and Light Peach (Did somebody say Daiquiri?). Yum, do these three ever look great together! Save on both price and shipping with these sets.

SIMPLY MAUVELESS: From earthy (Deep Plum) to Pastel (Peony/Pastel Red) to mid-range earthy jewel toned Cassis (a beautiful mauve color). These are some of their most popular colors and they just happen to look stunning together. Save on price and shipping with these sets.

WINE TASTING: Earthy Merlot (Dried Roses), Peony (a light Zinfandel perhaps...) to a Burgundy (Deep Plum). Each of these colors is a stand out on its own but together, they beautifully compliment one another as a theme. Save on both price and shipping with these sets.

Shown in different lighting and against different backgrounds to get the correct color.

Listing is for one cone. 3.5 ounces/100gm/710 yds of individual colors or sets of three pictured themes.

I ship every day but Sunday. Your order will go out immediately!
