Item details

This is a vintage needlepoint clutch bag kit by Hiawatha. Most of the work has been done - but the needlepoint design needs to be attached to the pre made black clutch. The black needlepoint background has been completed. Instructions are included, but the piping and needle needed to complete the clutch is missing. Anyone with sewing skill should be able to complete this sweet vintage clutch. The ready made clutch measures 4 1/4" X 7 1/4". The metal clasp on the clutch is working perfectly! This needlepoint clutch bag kit is in its original box and is from the Heirloom Needlework Guild, Inc. in New York, New York. Yarn used in this design appears to be a black wool. The background is very well done! Completed on needlepoint canvas. No issues other than the missing needle and piping. No holes or stains. Sweet!

Please remember that I am selling vintage items. Vintage items are not new. They have generally been used in the past. Many of these items are over 50 years old. General signs of wear will be evident. If there are issues that need to be noted, I will tell you in my description. I am generally very good at spotting issues, but occasionally I miss something! Remember that these items reflect the past and exhibit beautiful design and craftsmanship that we cannot often find in today's world.
