About: My cross-stitch pattern experience is actually based on bead weaving, so all of my cross-stitches are simple x stitch only. When I create a pattern, I am doing it for the love of creating and mostly as a hobby.

"You use too many colors in your patterns!" Yes, my patterns sometimes use a large amount of colors. When I am creating a pattern, I am worried about making the finished product look a certain way. I care about how the artwork looks. When weaving with beads, this isn't as much of a problem as with cross-stitching apparently.

"Why don't you have any samples of your stitching?" Because I'm a bead weaver, not a cross stitcher, Jim. I also don't have the time I used to have due to adulthood and other fun stuff. Most of my fun time in this is making patterns for others. I have been complimented numerous times by happy customers over my patterns, and that's all that matters. :-)

"Will you give me a free copy of your pattern so I can make a sample for you?" The short answer is no. The long answer is that I used to with no obligation to people whatsoever. If they wanted to show me what they did, that was fine. If they didn't, that was fine too. Times change, though. Now I simply will only offer my patterns for a period of time, and when I take them down that's it. You will have to use some sleuthing to find where I've put them after that, as etsy is my first stop shop for these.

"I love your patterns!" I love that you love my patterns. Thank you so much for telling me.

"Can you make such and such a pattern?" You're welcome to drop a suggestion in my box, but I make no promises. As I said, this is a hobby. It's time dependent.

"Can I get such and such a pattern from you that you have taken down?" I may not have the file anymore, but you can ask.

"Will you print the pattern out and mail it to me?" No. This is a PDF file for you to download. This is not for a physical copy. Sorry for the inconvenience.

"What's the secret of life?" It's not a number, despite popular opinion.
