A very old, rusty tool from my Grandfather's tool box. Great for your vintage, antique tool collection or rustic decor, your man cave or garage. It may have been used for automotive repair work ( think Tin Lizzie) or farm repair. This would be great to pack in your tool box when you take your vintage car to shows.
It's a vintage, flat head screwdriver with a wood handle. The metal of the screwdriver extends to the top of the handle with two pieces of wood attached at the sides. The top of the screwdriver is metal and is useful for pounding with a hammer. Appears to have had a lot of use this way, so much so that the shaft is even slightly bowed. This tool has been well used! I think it dates to the 1920's
It is 9 1/2" long. The tip is less than 3/8" wide and is worn, from being used with a hammer. the handle is 1 1/8" at its widest.
My Grandfather was 20 yrs old in 1921 and this was in a tool box with other automotive and farm tools.
