Blank fabric journal or book for you to embellish as you want, any way you want, with whatever you want.
I love fabric books, lace journals etc. But I hate the starting out step. I thought maybe other people left the same way so I have made a few of these small books for you to do with as you please.
Size is 8x8 inch counting the lace sticking out
12 surfaces to embellish counting the inside of both front and back covers. I have added a few pieces of lace to get you started. Red canvas cover and cotton and poly/cotton inside pages. I got tired of white so the center most pages are a lovely shade of brown/tan/ochre.
The "pages" have been sewn into the "spine" . I left gaps between each set of pages since, from experience, once the pages are embellished they will not lay flat if they are close together.
There are openings on each page's outer edge so you can put in a cardboard barrier to protect the backing page if you want to stamp, paint or draw. The opening is big enough to slip in a small embroidery hoop or just your hand to add beads, buttons, lace, braid, anything like that.
