Over the last several years, I've made a LOT of beads and used some of them in great pieces of statement jewelry. But I still have SO many beads! So it's time to share!
This group of 3 colorful beads were made using a mokume gane technique. The color come from different colors of clay. They are not painted. They are also not coated with any sort of shellac. Polymer clay is very durable and shines up great from buffing. Addition of coatings to add shine can leave them vulnerable to yellowing and peeling, so I don't usually coat them. These beads were left with a matte finish.
The 3 beads range from 3/4" to 7/8" and are handmade.
