On offer is a gorgeous vintage (1994) picture frame from the well known pewter merchant 'Seagull Pewter' of the tiny fishing village of Pugwash, Nova Scotia.
This style of frame has been dis-continued so is no longer available from Seagull.
Designed to look like wood or rustic barnboard with meandering ivy in the corners.
In 'as new' condition, however no box.
Back is marked " PF325 (c) 1994 Seagull TM Pewter Etain Zinn Canada".
Measures 9.5" x 11" / 24 x 28 cm. Opening is 7.5" x 9" / 19 x 23 cm.
Holds an 8" x 10" photo.
I have included a great 8" x 10" photo. Please note that while the subject matter-three woman on a beach is clearly antique, this photo is a recent reproduction of the original old photo. Nonetheless, it suits this great frame to a 'T'!
If you check Seagull's website you will see that their 8" x 10" frames presently retail for $149.99 CAD (or approx. $125 USD. at today's rate.)
The Fine Print:
***I’m a woman who loves to travel and have spent a ‘longish’ and lucky lifetime exploring many parts of the world. Most of the items I list have at one time been used, worn and/or displayed in my home.
My aim is to be scrupulously accurate in the description of the articles I sell. Take the time to look closely at the photos. I regard them as key when ascertaining condition. Many of my items are older and, with age comes wrinkles (trust me I know!). Many times, not always, it’s the flaws that give an item its charm and character.
Payment through ‘Direct Checkout’ or Paypal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use PayPal, just have a valid credit card. Detailed instructions on how to pay with a credit card without a PayPal account can be found at: http://www.etsy.com/help/article/361
Unless noted otherwise, I will happily ship items worldwide. Please contact me for an accurate overseas shipping quote. Customs/import duties are always the buyer’s responsibility.
***American customers, please note that I regularly travel across the border once a week to the US to ship items to you via USPS. If you purchase an item from me and don't mind waiting a few days beyond my normal 24/48 hr. shipping turn around, you will ironically receive the items sooner than you would have had I shipped directly from Canada and also avoid any customs/border hassles.
I do not accept ‘buyer’s remorse’ returns but if the item you purchase is damaged en-route or differs in major respects from that which you thought you were purchasing, monies will be refunded. However, the item must be returned to me immediately (if only to cry over). Buyer pays return shipping.
To keep costs down, I always try to use clean recycled packing materials. Also, mine has always been a smoke-free home.
The majority of the time I ship from Vancouver, British Columbia Canada via 'expedited shipping' within 1-2 business days after payment is received.
However, if you live in the United States or have an international address, I prefer to ship via USPS from the United States. It is faster and usually more economical than Canada Post. As a service to my customers I will make the 1+ hour drive to the border where I maintain a postal box in Blaine, WA and ship to you from there. I try to make this drive once a week, irregardless of the number of parcels I have to ship and will always let you know your approximate shipping date in a convo. Much appreciate your patience!
Please note that all parcels over 4 lbs shipped from the US must go Priority Post.
I accept payment through Paypal. If you do not use Paypal I will accept USPS or Canada Post money orders but understand that your items will not be shipped until payment is received.
If you have your eye on a special item and cannot pay right away I will certainly reserve it for you but ask that all reserve requests be for no longer than 3 weeks! Thank you.
Returns & exchanges
I will consider refunds if the item arrives at your door in different condition than you were expecting. In most cases I would like the item returned. All refund requests will be seriously evaluated on a case by case basis, never losing sight of the fact that happy customers are my number one priority.
If you are unable to pay the full price I am asking for an item (and I do try very hard to price reasonably and competitively) please never be shy to convo me and inquire about discounts. In most cases there is usually some reasonable flexibility and, as a retired lawyer, I've never shied away from a negotiation session!
