Item details

This Out of Print Butterick Pattern contains eras of great bases for accessories . My very favorite is the pattern for a pair of ribbon garters . I can definitely see these both on a woman in the 18th century or on a man in Tudor England . The cravat ( or jabot ) is also very useful , giving you the opportunity to create some neck ties to really complete a Victorian Man ' s outfit .

The " medieval " hats seem to be a creative interpretation of period headgear . The medieval covered cap is more in the style of an early French Hood . Regardless , they are a great pattern base for any millinery work you might have .

The bustle and pannier pattern work for 1870 - 1890 s costuming . It would also work for anyone who wants to make a Steampunk outfit , as these would work both over a skirt or a pair of pants . Though it does say " pannier " , the result looks a little too modern to work on a historically accurate 18th century garment .

FAQs

I do not currently have wholesale products, as most of the pieces I sell are unique and one-of-a-kind. The quantity of items posted are all I have in my inventory. I try to cater to those who work on a smaller, individual project scale. My customers are typically looking for that one button or that one pattern to complete their costume. My products are all backed with research and documentation as to their historicity, so customers can decide which item might be best suited for their historical project.
