To determine the price of regular shipping, I use the farthest and most remote postal/zip code from my area (Ottawa). The amount shown for shipping is for the lowest cost with Delivery Confirmation for the farthest code for delivery. If you are interested in one or more of my items and would like to know the price of shipping to your area and/or request a different type of shipping, before the purchase, please contact me via convo. I can also provide on request the price for other types of shipping.
There is no negotiation about the price of the item or the price of shipping.
Before any purchase, please let me know if you would like to include insurance ($2.20) with the shipping cost. Canada Post insurance does not cover every items.
Returns & exchanges
There are no refunds for the item and shipping that does not include the option Delivery Confirmation.
All shipping of postcards does not include the option of Delivery Confirmation. All sale of postcards are as is and there are no refund.
Any (unless specified otherwise in the Item Details) shipping that I make that includes the option Delivery Confirmation, the buyer will only receive a refund for the item(s) value for the following reason.
-The item(s) was lost in transit (only after official confirmation of Canada Post that the item(s) is lost). -The item(s) was received broken or damaged.
Any refund is only for the original price of the purchased item and not for the shipping.
Each refund request will be assessed on a case by case basis.
For any of the above mentioned refund options to be valid, I must be contacted by the buyer within 48 hours after the buyer has received the item(s) (at the date of the Delivery Confirmation) or the sale will be final and closed. Do not return any item(s) unless agreed by both parties (buyer and seller) in convo. Any item(s) return by the buyer (without mutual agreement between the buyer and seller) after the 48 hours will be return to the buyer at the buyers’ expense.
There will be no refund for item(s) due to cracks, chips, scratches, wear etc that was already mentioned in the item details or shown in the pictures.
These vintage items are old and some will show wear from usage. On occasion, there will be some items that will have cracks, chips, scratches, wear etc. All my descriptions of the items conditions are forthright and as accurate as possible in the particulars provided in the Item Details and pictures. It is the responsibility of the buyer to attentively read all of my Item Details and to closely look at the pictures if there are any irregularities with the item. You can use the zoom option to take a closer look at the pictures. Any item return by the buyer (without mutual agreement between the buyer and seller) for the previous mentioned reasons will be return to the buyer at the buyers’ expense.
When the postal service confirms the item has been delivered to the buyer’s delivery point (ex. house/apartment/mailbox/post office/postal locker, etc.), then the item is confirmed as delivered and there will be no refund if stolen, etc. I am not responsible if the parcel or envelope is stolen, it is the sole responsibility of the buyer to ensure the safeguard of the item once it is delivered (ex. making arrangement with a family member, the postal service or postal office, trusted neighbour etc.).
The buyer will only be refunded the item(s) cost if any cancellation of the order by the buyer is made prior to the buyer receiving the item(s). To be refunded for the item(s) cost only, not shipping, the item ordered by the buyer prior to cancelling must be returned to the seller (at the buyers expense) in the exact same condition when originally shipped by the seller. Only when the item(s) is received by the seller and in it's original condition prior to seller shipping will the buyer be refunded only the cost of the item.
Any mutually agreed (seller and buyer) refunds to the buyer will only be for the amount paid for the item(s) by the buyer and not for the shipping.
IMPORTANT: There are no refunds for all items listed in the Shop section Metal, Untested, Etc., unless item(s) is lost in transit (not delivered). The refund for lost in transit is like any other refund, it will be only for the item(s) original price in the listing that the buyer paid for and not for the shipping. All items in the Shop section Metal, Untested, Etc., could or will have scratches, broken parts, be functional or not, or some may have rust. Because of the wide variety of items and the type of items (car lights, hinges, gauges etc.) in this section, I am unable to test them. It is the responsibility of the potential buyer to read my Item Details as I will try as closely as possible to describe the item(s) by writing and with pictures (buyer can use the zoom option). For each item(s) that I list in this Shop section I will clearly put in the Item Details : Item is in shop section Metal Untested, Etc., no refunds unless lost in transit (not delivered).
I will only issue a refund on overcharged shipping if the buyer was charged $1.50 or more above the actual shipping cost (post office receipt) when mailed. I will absorb any amount if the actual shipping cost (post office receipt) is above the shipping amount shown in my shop.
