Sansevieria are great and hardy house plants in the United States. You do not have to have a green thumb to grow a Sansevieria. Sansevieria are native to Africa and come in several forms. Sansevieria are the plants commonly known as Snake Plants or Mother in Law's tongue. Sansevieria are extremely long lived plants and can live for generations. They may also function well as cleaners of indoor air, removing harmful pollutants. Anyone looking for a lush, vibrant and interesting plant to add to their indoor garden is sure to be pleased with any variety of the Sansevieria.
As a houseplant it does best in bright light but can also handle low light levels indoors as well. Outdoors bright light to full sun. Handles dry and poor soil conditions but appreciates good well-drained soil inside or outside. Lightly fertilize with a liquid 20-20-20 fertilizer 1/2 strength. DO NOT over-water or overpot. Temperatures below 40 may cause damage to leaves. Relatively pest free.
Currently growing in 4 inch pots. These are fully rooted plants. We typically ship our plants bare root, no pot, minimal soil, but carefully packaged to prevent harm or damage tot he plant.
