This is a geometric Biscornu. It is a beautiful addition to any stitching space and uses clashing colors that blend and highlight each other.
You do not have to do this as a completed work, you can stitch each design separately or combine them.
These are the first half of the series. Once the series is done, you can choose which designs go together best for you.
These stitch up fairly quickly, or you can take your time.
You can stitch it with the colors I chose, or choose your own. When you purchase this, let me know if you do not want the color key included and I will just send out the pattern with no key!
These come with instructions on how to assemble also.
I use hand-dyed fabric that I dye myself or that a friend dyes for me. For this project, I chose a camel color to accent the variety of colors used. I think this would look stunning on black as well since that would showcase each color. I think that white would dull the colors a bit much.
I enjoyed designing these and definitely enjoyed stitching them. This is my first attempt to sell my work and I started with a Biscornu since I fell in love with the production of them. They are not for the weak hearted! The assembly process is quite tedious, but so worth it. I finished this one with 2 beads that I glued in place after stitching the center of the Biscornu together. Usually you use a button on each side, but I wanted the contrast of the straight lines with the roundness of the beads.
