Organic Polwarth wool top from the Falkland Islands. The wool was selected from two family farms on the islands and measures an incredible 22 microns. The fleeces were processed in the UK. Sheep that are raised organically are not subject to mulesing, and they are not dipped for pesticides. In addition, the number of sheep allowed to graze in any give pasture area is limited to the natural carrying capacity of the land. And as with most wool that comes from the Falklands, it is very white, so it takes dye wonderfully.
It is absolutely marvellous to spin; it's so soft. Treat yourself to a little!

We do our best to photograph our items accurately, but please bear in mind that color settings can vary from monitor to monitor, so some discrepancy between the digital image and the physical item is common.
We use professional grade acid dyes. The photo is a representation of the color way and not necessarily the one you will receive. Each 4 oz of fiber is dyed individually, so no two are going to be exactly alike. All units are approximately 4 oz unless specified otherwise.
When you set the twist or wash your handspun, you may see some color release, usually if there is a high concentration of blue or red/magenta. Don't panic! It will be fine. You can add a few tablespoons of white vinegar to the bath if you are concerned.
Please read our shipping policies before you order, especially if you are in another country.
We ship first class for orders under 13 oz and Priority for orders above within the United States. Elsewhere we ship First Class International. First Class International does NOT guarantee full tracking, and is not eligible for filing claims in case of loss or damage to package. If you wish to purchase insurance, and/or change shipping method, please let us know and we will invoice you accordingly.
We ship within 3-5 days of receiving your order.
Once your purchase leaves our hands and enters the USPS system, we are no longer financially or otherwise responsible for it.
Please note that orders shipped First Class International can take up to a month in some cases to reach their destination, especially if they are large packages and the country in question is located at a very large distance away from the United States. We do NOT have control over the post office, and do not have access to any more information than you do with the customs number once it leaves the United States.
We currently accept Paypal and Etsy Direct Checkout for payment. We reserve the right to cancel any order, and will issue a refund if we do so. Sales tax is added for California residents.

Returns: We have a 30 day return policy. If, for whatever reason, you are not happy with your purchase, you have thirty days within which to return it for a complete refund. Items must be in the original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please notify us before returning anything. We will not accept or refund products returned to us without notice.
We do not offer refunds in case of loss or damage through the postal system.
Our products come from a non-smoking but pet-friendly studio-- however, the cats are outside ones and do not touch the yarn or fiber.
