From the Garden of Gypsy Digs Heirloom Flowers: 20 Summer Snowflake Bulbs
Botanical name ~ Leucojum aestivum.
This is an Heirloom Perennial bulb circa 1954. Summer Snowflake is a long-time survivor of the South. These were harvested from my previous home in Ailey, GA. (Think white clap board homes and garden club ladies.)
This lovely flower blooms annually in late Winter/early Spring. Very hardy in Zones 4 to 9 but will grow practically anywhere and is Very Low Maintenance. Plant them 2 to 3 inches deep and water to establish.
Leucojum aestivum will grow to a height of 12-18". This plant is Deer Resistant and Naturalizes. These dainty flowers multiply but are not invasive. They look beautiful around trees, ponds and as garden borders.
I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do.

I have been looking for these bulbs for awhile and was thrilled to find them on Etsy. They came quickly with great instructions for planting. The bulbs were large and healthy. I couldn’t be happier :)
