My Spooly lets you easily wind anything onto a spool. All you need is a drill. I invented my Spooly one morning when I needed to transfer some 3D printing filament to another spool so that I could run two jobs. The first version wasn't as simple or as universal as this one is. You slip the Spooly's bolt through the center of your spool, then screw the other end on. Its unique design automatically centers spools that have bore diameters from 1 - 2.5" and widths up to 4". You can always add a longer bolt or threaded rod to increase the maximum width. The color specified is black, but the color may vary. I don't figure the color really matters for a tool like this. If you need to spool something smaller, check out the Spooly Mini. It will do spools with bores from 0.5 - 1.25" in diameter.
This handy little device can be used with anything that comes on a spool. Fishing line, string trimmer line, thread, yarn, electrical wire, 3D filament, spaghetti?, etc.
