PDF of a Knitting Pattern for a Stuffed Toy Poodle
This pattern is from my own collection, and dates from the early 1950s.
This toy poodle, nearly a foot tall (28 cm), is full of character and the instructions are carefully detailed. The suggested stuffing material was rubber foam chips, but you would probably prefer a nice polyester stuffing!
The yarn specified is DK Double Knitting which is still available freely today. You need one 1 oz (25 g) ball each of white DK and white bouclé yarn (any textured yarn of a similar thickness to the DK would do!)
A bit of fun and a lovely gift for a poodle owner, a small child.
