This handmade pottery yarn knitting bowl is truly a functional handmade piece of art. It is the perfect place to store and organize your knitting or crochet projects, yarn, and needles . Place yarn in the bowl and feed thru the cut out for smooth feeding of yarn while keeping it contained in the bowl. There are also holes to store needles while not in use.
The bowl is made of stoneware, thrown by hand on the potters wheel. It measures 6 inches inches across the top and is 3 1/2 inches tall.
It is glazed with a beautiful indigo blue with a brighter blue accent. The perfect gift for that special someone. Every attempt has been made to represent the color in the photos, however due to different monitor configurations, the color may be slightly different when the piece arrives.

IS YOUR POTTERY FOOD SAFE? CAN I PUT IT IN MY MICROWAVE? WHAT ABOUT MY DISHWASHER?
Yes with a little care all of my stoneware pottery is made for functional kitchen and table use. It's lead-free and food safe. You can put it in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer...even your oven! Just avoid sudden temperature changes, like taking a bowl out of the fridge and putting it in a 350* oven or putting a hot dish into a sink of cold water. This is called "thermal shock" and can shatter your piece. Pieces used in your oven should always be placed in a cold oven so they can gradually heat along with the oven. With just a little extra care, stoneware is very durable and should last for years.
