This yarn was made from a strand of recycled yarn, plied together with three threads — the yarn is 100% wool in striping colors, the threads are unknown fiber content, in blues and variegated colors. It has a kinky, textured look because of how it was plied; it's a worsted weight, or heavy worsted; it weighs 129 grams.
It was made from a secondhand sweater, rescued from a thrift store rack to be given a new life, and spools of thread which were found at secondhand stores. It was carefully unraveled, then spun and plied together by hand, and thoroughly washed.
The striped yarn is tied together at the color changes, with the thread wrapped around extra to hide the knots and create spun features in the yarn.
Every skein of leethal recycled spun yarn is one-of-a-kind, and each will make a totally unique handcrafted item!
Yarn is in a skein so it will need to be wound into a ball before it can be used.
The yarn was made in a non-smoking household, where a cat lives.
