Item details

Copper clay, bronze clay - which metal do you like better? Why not try both? Choose either 60 grams (30 copper/30 bronze) or 100 grams (50 copper/50 bronze). The two metals can be fired together or separately (the second photo is an example of a piece I made using bronze on copper).

Experiment! Have fun!

Cinter clay is really easy to work with: smooth, pliable, easy to texture. Metal clay is similar to any other type of clay when it is wet. After firing (sintering) it is just metal. It shrinks about 10-15% after firing. Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin. It looks a lot like gold when polished. Sometimes the carbon natural creates rainbow patinas. Either way it is a lot of fun!

Kiln required. Instructions included. Questions welcome. More info, photos and firing instructions are available online at

I package my clay powders in biodegradable plastic bags and ship in 100% recyclable corrugated mailers. Your artistic creations should make a lasting impact on the world: its packaging should not.
