Butterick 5555, Copyrighted in 1970s Size 6X All pieces are there, it is uncut and unused.
Even the envelope is in good unused condition except for some possible fading. This is a classic smocked dress designed by Betsey Johnson for Butterick Patterns. I don't know if the dots are still good after all these years, but I don't know why they wouldn't be unless they somehow faded onto each other. I am not certain when the pattern was made, but I am guessing 70s because that was when the "maxi" came in for a while (the first time) and the dress can be made in three lengths one of which is maxi/floor length. The sleeves have two options.
All purchases made between now and June 17 will be shipped on June 19. I normally ship within two business days. If this policy changes, I will change it here.
I have just now begun to use the Etsy shipping calculation option. This will take some time to convert all of my listings. In the meantime, I have estimated to the West Coast. If you live closer to Georgia and would like a shipping calculation please contact me and I can give you an exact quote for a specific item. If an item has the "calculate shipping" button, it has been entered according to the new option and will be accurate. Thank you in advance for your patience.
Most items are shipped at or near cost. Many will be shipped Priority Mail. Others will go First Class. If the items are either large or heavy, they may out of necessity go Parcel Post. I try to keep shipping as low as possible. All shipments will have a shipping confirmation. Many items will be insured. If insured, the post office will pay for any damage, but you must give the item to the post office in exchange for the money. I pack my items carefully. If an item is fragile it is normally double boxed with padding between the boxes. I re-use and recycle boxes and packaging. Most baby sheets and ready to smock outfits are shipped in USPS tyvec packaging.
International Shipping - I am willing to ship items internationally, however this is not indicated in a listing unless someone has inquired about a specific item. The pricing is different for each country and each item, depending upon its size and weight. If you are interested in having me ship a specific item, please contact me for the pricing. I will be happy to add another country to my shipping and you can decide if it is worth the shipping price. As stated above, I do not make an effort to profit on shipping, I ship at or near cost.
Gifts - For items that have been purchased as gifts, I am willing to ship them to the recipient.
As listed with the individual items, I accept most forms of payment. The New Direct Check Out allows you to use a Credit Card if you are in the habit of doing so. I accept Pay pal as well. With personal checks, I will wait until the check clears unless you are an established customer and are really in a hurry. At this time, I am more of a hobby than a business and therefore am not required to pay taxes so you are not either.
Please pay as soon as you are able or contact me with any problems. I am flexible in this area as long as there is communication and I understand what is happening!
Returns & exchanges
I have had very little need to issue refunds. I am willing to do so if the item is not accurately described or even if you are simply not happy. The issue of who pays postage and return postage depends upon the situation.
If there is a problem, please let me know as soon as possible. I am interested in your satisfaction and will make efforts to remedy any problems.
Once the package has been mailed, I have no way to protect it. I will track it to make certain that it is delivered. I purchase insurance on many but not all items. If you want to make certain an item is insured, please let me know.
Gifts - If you would like me to gift wrap the item, there is an additional charge of $2. The package will include a card with your message attached (as long as you give me a message to send).
