Item details

This fiber is a rustic and sturdy suffolk wool - I lOVE working with suffolk wool, as it resists felting, has tons of memory, and is very lofty. I spun it as a gently textured bulky yarn. Gloriously textured, would be great knit with big needles and a single stitch, or really cool in a weaving project. Also excellent for wool dreads or rug hooking.

Dyed with wildcrafted black walnut hulls.

3 oz, 52 yards, single ply bulky weight.

If you need more or less of this yarn, convo me. I am glad to do custom order for afghans, blankets, and other large projects. I have many satisfied customers!

These yarns are spun in my home; I do my absolute best to keep my felines and angora housebunny out of the fiber, but please do be aware that these yarns are created in an pet-friendly home. After they are spun, tagged, photographed and listed on etsy, they "live" in my herb shop until they are sold, so they DO smell pleasantly of herbs - most people find this pleasant but if you think this might be objectionable, you have been warned :) .

SHIPPING! I did my best to make shipping affordable, and put in the weight and dimensions for every listing so etsy can calculate the best shipping rate for you - but the problem is, it doesn't work well. :/ The shipping seems to be accurate for one or two skeins, but more than that and it can be high. I will also refund you if there are shipping overcharges! So do not fret. Feel free to convo me if you need more exact information before you purchase, but I WILL always check and refund you any excess if needed.
