This is a pattern by Kaffe Fasset torn from a Woman & Home magazine in the 1980s. This is not a copy; these are the original pages. There are three sheets with a photograph in colour and 2 pages of instructions, including charts.
The pattern will be sent by Signed For standard post within the UK; by standard international post to the rest of the world. The design specified Rowan 100% wools but does not state the 'thickness' of the yarn; however gives a tension square of 19 st by 19 rows to a 10 cm x 10 cm square using 5.5 mm needles. TheKnittingNetwork Sustitute Yarn tension list suggests that something around Aran and Chunky could work to this tension, but please make your own calculations and don't rely on this suggestion!
For the list of colour yarns required see the second picture above which shows the wools needed under 'Materials'. Colours G to V are always used double, therefore it is possible that these are thinner yarns. In that spirit, do experiment on using other yarns doubled to obtain the required palette of colours.
I shall obtain a Certificate of Posting for International and European destinations, but cannot be held responsible for the envelope henceforth.
