A remarkable Lincoln Longwool lamb fleece. Natural black wool (also some dark dark brown wool) with long silver/creamy white locks with curl but not twist. Black and white easily separated so I spun it that way.
I found this lamb fleece at the Fingerlakes Fiber Festival this Fall. The colors are completely natural--completely undyed and stunning.
I spun the wool onto a mohair thread---alternating black and silver section. Corespinning provides strength and balance to the finished yarn.
There is one skein of 46 yards
The yarn is very light in weight though it is bulky in thickness. It is not fragile but it is delicate. Please work loosely.
Thanks from all of us at KnoxFarmFiber.
absolutely beautiful and strong, easy to work with, thank you!
I will send your purchase out the next day after payment is received. No fancy packaging for me--just tissue paper inside an environmentally-conscious mailing bag. It's compostable! I understand international customs rules and will fill out forms accordingly. I will ship pkg air mail but not priority to international addresses. And Canada? No problem. Formerly I took your package across the Bridge to mail. Turns out it is less expensive and faster to mail from the Bflo airport post office--so that is what I'll do.
Please pay promptly, so I can send your purchase out right away. Paypal and credit cards make a sale finish quickly. If you prefer a check or money order, that's ok. I need to receive your check within 7 days of sale or I will cancel the sale. Any problems, just convo me.
Returns & exchanges
I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I think it is difficult to buy yarn online, when the best part of buying is touching, smelling, seeing in different lights. I will refund the full price for any yarn skein that has not been unwound, or any full-wt unspun roving. And if it never arrives at all? Let me know right away and we'll try to find a good solution. Thanks.
