Three-Pack of Assorted Lalvin Wine Yeasts (K1V-1116, EC-1118, 71B-1122)

K1V-1116 - Typically used for ciders and natural fruit that are light. It works really great with stuck fermentations as well. Preferred with ciders and any light country wine that want to keep their fruity flavors. This is an extremely competitive yeast strain and will crowd out other strains. Alcohol tolerance: 16%-18%

EC-1118 - A champagne-style of yeast. It tolerates a wide range of fermentation temperatures from 50 degrees up to 95 degrees F. This is a great yeast to help restart stuck fermentations as well get a high alcohol if that’s what your going for. Some use this yeast for distilling because of it tolerance to higher levels of alcohol. Alcohol tolerance: 18%

71B-1122 - This yeast can metabolize malic acid turning it into ethanol. Translated, it makes acidic wines, meads, and melomels into more well rounded ones. This gives you a wine without an acid bite, especially if you start off with a wine that has lots of acid in it. Alcohol tolerance: 14%

Each sealed packet contains 5 grams of freeze dried yeast. If stored in a cool and dry place it should last a year or more. Saccharomyces Cerevisiae
