Even with all the colors that crepe paper comes in, ever wish you could add some depth or variation to bring life to your crepe paper flowers? Crepe paper can run, turn mushy or lose its crepe when wet, so painting with watercolors or acrylics is a challenge. I have found a way to create vibrant, variegated crepe paper without these problems -- and I will share this fantastic paper with you! My painted paper retains its crepe, stretch and malleability.
This listing is for a 4" x 90" (10 cm X 2.2 m) strip of hand-painted Dennecrepe crepe paper.
Choose from the color options provided. The first color on the description is the paint. the second color is the base paper. Note that the light blue paint is "Larkspur" and the "violet" paper is Dennecrepe's "French Violet" -- which is really a dusty light blue.
If there is something you would like to see, please convo me for a custom blend.
Dennecrepe is made in the USA on the original machines from Dennison Corp. It has a tight, fine "crêped" texture, and is really the best for making ethereal, luminous flowers.
Note that this paper is hand-painted, so some variation is expected. This can add to the natural effect!
