If you love the look of this fabric in the photos, you will absolutely adore it in person! Photos just cannot do it justice.
This is a single knit fabric that is very dense and will lend itself to a variety of vintage fashion and crafting projects. The pattern features a celtic weave set into a star and the pattern repeats at about 3 1/2" The stretch is not terribly loose, so you could even choose a jacket or semi-fitted pullover pattern. I would lean towards a long skirt, myself.
I would assume that dry cleaning is recommended because of the metallic thread. The main brown is a rich, chestnut shade and the field background is closer to walnut. The stars and celtic knots are accented with a fine gold thread.
