Quilting book from Martingale Publishing The Patchwork Place with 12 projects for home decor you can make yourself with a few cutting and sewing tools.
Gorgeous photos offer a host of inspiring decorating ideas in these 112 pages.
Kim Diehl adds a delightful new collection to her best-selling Simple series of books. Quilters will be thrilled to find beautifully scrappy quilt patterns in a variety of sizes.
Kim Diehl gives very detailed and extensive directions on how to successfully produce quilt piecing techniques along with her favorite invisible machine needle turned appliqué. When I first saw this appliqué technique done I was enchanted because it gave me the courage to take on more projects. I love how soft the finish is, much better than fusible, and it washes much better than fusible.
I have a few kits that I've gathered to complete these quilts in this book. I sell these in my studio and now on Etsy.
If you see a quilt that you want to complete from this book or any other Kim Diehl books, let me know. I'll put together a kit just for you from my enormous collection of Kim Diehl fabrics from Henry Glass. I replenish this collection with new acquisitions frequently. I admit that I do hide some bolts in my closet because I just can't bare to part with them for awhile, but eventually, I must let them go so others can enjoy.
