Item details

These two lovely party dresses are great examples of ingenuous 1920's design: both are essentially simple, but with very innovative design ideas they become high class garments. The youthful green dress has unusually shaped flounces, which give it an interesting line. However, the flounces habe been shaped simply by sewing several small tucks on the reverse side. The red dress has precious looking, modern embellishment, which is also very quick to make by simple machine sewing. Both dresses are a pleasure to wear, to party in and to dance, giving the wearer a real taste of the roaring 20's spirit.

This is a bundle of two evening dress patterns from the 1920's. These patterns were was published in October 1928 in a German fashion magazine called „Deutsche Moden-Zeitung“. The first dress is made to fit a person with the following measurements: bust: 88 cm or 34.5 ins, waist: 70 cm or 27.5 ins and hip: 100 cm or 39.5 ins, and the second dress is made to fit a person with the following measurements: bust: 92 cm or 36 ins, waist: 72 cm or 28.5 ins and hip: 106 cm or 42 ins, but due to the simple, staight cut, both models are very easy to enlarge or make smaller. Both patterns come as pdf files and can be printed either on a normal A4 printer or with a large scale printer, if available.
