Item details

This Byzantine motif is taken from the shroud of Saint Siviard, held by the Cathedral Treasury in Sens. is a medallion framed by split palmettes, surrounding a griffin in front of a tree. The motif is similar to other Byzantine designs appearing from the 7th to 13th centirues. A few changes have been made to make this design more stable for block printing.

Artist Grav Weldon has extracted the image and created a laser-cut stamp of this motif for use in block printing. The block can be custom made to your dimensions, but can be no smaller than eight inches and no larger than 10 inches in diameter.

This design can be reversed (flipped horizontal) on custom order.
