How do you clean your gems and crystals🤔? I prefer moonlight, sitting them on a piece of Selenite, rubbing a little sage oil on them or smudging. If you use water/salt water be careful because if the crystal has metal around it you can damage the metal. And some crystals will dissolve with water make sure to do your reseach.😘

I personally do not but it's your preference. I find that eventually the metals, and cords break down faster when wet. And sometimes I've had my necklace get damaged when I wear it to bed from tossing and turning at night. I usually take my crystals off before swimming, showers or going bed.
