This is a computer drafted pattern. Girl sizes 7, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 years. Please see the measurements chart included with the images. The pattern will print out on A4 or US letter size paper. Thorough printing instructions are included.
The files include the pattern, material requirement info and step by step written sewing instructions with photo illustrations. The pattern includes seam allowances.
The patterns and tutorial are for the following 7 pieces:
Blouse Neck-kerchief (fichu) Bodice waist Skirt Underskirt Apron Pocket set
The pattern is inspired by the 2017 Beauty and the Beast movie costume that Emma Watson wore for the opening scene. And for the most part of the movie she wears variations of the same costume. The costume in the movie is inspired by the 18th century clothing and includes such items like waist pockets on a string and a fichu-- the typical modesty piece for a low neckline. The soft bodice is inspired by a corset of that time but is so much more suitable and charming on a peasant girl than a rigid corset would be.
This costume would be great for parties, birthdays or for Halloween. Most of the pieces require only beginners' sewing skills, but the bodice is a bit more challenging. Don't worry, if you have patience and follow my tutorial one step at a time you should be fine. Also, I'm available for extra help if needed.

We had bought all the material and were just going to wing it on the pattern just before Halloween. All the parts of the puzzle seemed simple enough... but I found myself procrastinating as the holiday loomed & realized I was intimidated about messing this up for her. So my husband said “Spend the $12. For peace of mind!” And I am so glad I did! Easy to follow, easy to edit. And our daughter was so happy with how it came out! We did a size 12. And upon the advice of another mother I met at Jo-Anne’s working on the same costume we both took up 1” on the shoulder seam on the bodice, for little underdeveloped ladies. Thank you so much! It was a well admired costume, that made my daughter feel better than a princess! She felt like a smart, independent, kind Belle.

Excellent pattern and instructions. Very detailed steps were easy to follow; large images included for many steps. I printed only the pattern pieces I needed and referred to the tutorial on iPad - less paper/ink! Made this for my daughter's Halloween costume and she also used the skirts, apron, and pockets for Colonial Day as well.

Just what I was looking for! I also wish the bodice was a little longer, but we just pulled the skirt up a little. My daughter loved it, and won best costume at the Halloween party she went to. The pattern was super easy to follow. Will definitely get patterns from this shop in the future!
