Nicely structured bonnet! Depending on fiber used, is a nice wear for any season, boy or girl! Very easy and works up quickly.

I love this pattern and this hat! Can't wait to make more. As a beginner the pattern left me with some questions. I was able to sort it out but it would have been helpful to have photos of how the back/bottom of the bonnet splits when working on the rows of single crochet. Again, as a beginner, I was confused why I wasn't joining the rows and it looked like my bonnet was splitting. Even just a photo of the finished product from the back in the pattern would be helpful...or a tip to check out the photos for this listing in the shop, which is what I ended up doing. I came onto the Etsy site to find more pictures to make sure I was doing it right. My favorite part is that the proceeds of this purchase went to wild and free! Thank you!
