**************************
There are many ways to use your mechanical paper doll! I suggest printing it on high quality paper or card stock, depending on whether you’re using it for further collage work.

If making a moveable doll, it can help to glue your print to a lightweight cardboard or mat board** (spray adhesive works better than liquid glue, which can warp the paper). After cutting out, use sandpaper or a nail file to take off the uneven bits and then use a marker or a bit of paint to carefully color the sides to match. You can also attach a dowel or chopstick to the back for play or display.

To fasten the limbs to the body, scrapbooking mini-brads work well. If you have a bookbinder's awl or other pointy tool, this works best to create the holes, but you can also use a small nail or even a push pin to start the hole. Locate the dots on each limb and match them to the corresponding dots on the body.

**The boxes shirts come in during the holidays work well—you know, the white boxes you dread opening because it’s probably an ugly sweater or a pile of socks, but the giver is looking at you so hopefully...
