This is a handmade stoneware yarn bowl in the shape of a teapot. The bowl is made on the wheel and decorated by hand. The bowl is about 6 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter and is glazed all white. The bowl has a flat heavy bottom that enables a person that knits or crochets to pull a strand of yarn through the heart shape on the side of the bowl or through the spout of the teapot (although I hate to admit it, it is hard to get the strand of yarn up through the spout, but it can be done) without the yarn ball rolling across the floor. I sign all my pottery on the bottom as you can see in the picture.
