This is a used vintage sewing pattern, number 9790, made by Butterick in the 1960s. This pattern is for a princess sheath dress with short unmounted sleeves. It has two versions: Version B is a collarless version with a slashed hemline and contrast fabric binding; Version A has a mandarin collar and purchased frog closures on the front. The pattern also includes a jacket with a mandarin collar, dropped shoulder line, and set-in three-quarter sleeves.
Misses Size 10 - 16
See close-up photo of the back of the envelope for further sizing measurements.
This pattern is in vintage condition; it is previously been used, so is cut. The sewing instructions are present but may be discolored and/or brittle. The envelope has a rip in the front. There may be small rips or tiny holes in the pattern due to pinning, etc. I have inspected the pattern pieces and they are all there.
Due to the fragility of this item, it will come in a ziplock plastic bag, with the pieces carefully folded outside of the envelope - I don't like to stuff them back into the envelope, that can be the new owner's pleasure. It will ship in a padded envelope to avoid any further damage to the pattern.
All the items at the Silverplate Stash have lived previous lives, and therefore, are in used vintage condition. The photographs which are included in the listing are considered part of the description.
