Flexible Magnetic Rounds with Peel 'n' Stick Adhesive backing. (see specifications below)
◘ Making refrigerator magnets or other craft projects. (Generally "craft store" flexible magnet is 30 mils thick. This is 60 mils. The additional thickness means additional strength)
◘ Can be adhered to any smooth, non-porous surface, such as a cabinet or pantry door, hardboard (see last picture of magnet adhered to painted cabinet door) NOTE: Typical walls (drywall) are porous. The adhesive on these magnets will not stick to drywall. A more permanent adhesive must be used for use on walls.
◘ On the bottom of Storage Tins to make them magnetic. When choosing a magnet for the bottom of a tin, choose the largest magnet to fill the greatest part of the tin bottom. The more magnet surface to stick to whatever metal you have, the stronger the hold.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These magnets have been tested for use with the specific dimensions and weights of Versa-Tin® Storage Tins. No other brands have been tested. If you choose a tin with different weight or dimensions, this magnet may not hold the filled tin. These 2.375" diameter magnets are recommended for use with Versa-Tin® 6 oz. tins.
Installation Tips: • Clean the smooth, non-porous surface by wiping dirt, grease, cleaners, etc. off with rubbing alcohol • If the magnet is cold & slightly bent, using a hair dryer to warm the magnet makes it pliable again • Peel the paper backing from the magnet • Place magnet on surface • Apply pressure (without crushing the tin or other item). Pressure starts the adhesive migrating to the surface to which it is applied • Allow 24 hours before using
Use Tips: • Do not allow magnet to freeze • Keep magnet clean to keep proper connection between magnet and the metal surface it sticks to
