Rare, never seen before!? While hiking the NEK Vermont forests in search of the indian pipe (monotropa uniflora) that we use for our tincture, we came across the standing dried stems, from last years blooms.
The exciting part is that these are "tell-tale" locators for the current years colonies. These blend in with the surroundings, so you have to develop a new way of looking at the forest floor to see these. What is really neat, and rare about these dried stems, is that they survived all winter, with the Vermont snow, and came out still straight in their bundles.
I am selling these in 24 stem lots.
There are only few clumps that I have located, so I consider this a rare find.
they will be carefully protected for shipping-
let me know if you are looking for a certain number. and I'll see if I can set up a specific order.
