This pattern is for a counted cross-stitch geometric border inspired by the Lakota Sioux Indians. It is square and fits inside Herrschners square clear acrylic coaster that measure 3 1/2" square by 3/4" thick. It can be used with your own inspirational saying, quote, etc. stitched in the center. File 1 consists of 5 pages with a brief description of the pattern, pattern notes, materials, photographs of a finished piece (the same one shown in the photos above) and instructions with photos of mounting the finished pieces in the clear acrylic coasters.
File 2 consists of 2 pages with the stitches shown in color with the symbols. The first page is the chart for the pattern. The second page includes the thread legend and other information.

The pattern is designed to be stitched on 14 count Aida fabric. The thread colors listed for this pattern are DMC cotton thread in white, black, red, orange and yellow. It is an easy skill level pattern consisting of full cross stitches and backstitches.
